Agas and Tamar Jewellery

I have a weakness for jewellery thats rustic and simple. When I saw the Agas and Tamar site for the 1st time I was struck by the richness of texture and by the earthy designs. And it definitely helps that they are so lovingly photographed.
Rings of gold. I'm not into gold but this is just so gorgeous. The beaten beads strung snug together
engraved and textured silver
Rough hewn rings

Ancient scripts on gold bands

How I love this piece.
Agas and Tamar stores are in Israel and NewYork. Sigh... Check their website for bigger pictures or if you want to order your very own piece of magical charm.

oh my god vineeta, i am utterly and totally floored! this has become the new MUST HAVE for me, but which one is the tough question. they all are so beautiful...and i thought i didn't even like gold all that much, until now that is.

Patricia- me too :)

Priya, I feel similarly about gold- we've seen so much stereotypical gold & what it stands for that a part of me actively runs away from it- but this is another story :)

Robyn, agree agree! :)

Ketchup girl, I just checked your blog & man, you've got the most kickass jewellery blog I've come across!

Priya, strangely it refused to publish the comment yesterday & now I tried it once again & it has appeared :)
